It was a special pleasure to play recently for the XLP charity in London. Heads South was invited to play for their Thankyou event for over 100 volunteers who mentor young people in deprived inner city areas. Playing our music live for such a worthwhile cause, we are indeed fortunate.

Back From Spain

Back (again) from Spain. A country blessed with supporting quality live music. Having seen the wonderful Panmanian singer Ruben Blades on the beach for free, as well as a host of top jazz performers, in beautiful San Sebastian three months ago, now the autumn touring season is well under way and even some fairly moderate size towns are hosting an impressive array of live concerts check out http://jazzpalencia.es/. Includes Randy Brecker and Bill Evans in SoulBop band with special guest drummer Simon Philips - saw him play with Hiromi in Budapest, superb. And no, they’re not coming to the UK...
